Hello NERSC Users, As of around 22:30 last night, the scratch issue involving a downed OST has been resolved. All scratch data should now be fully accessible again. The “scratch” license hold has been removed and any held jobs are now back in the queue (or are running, or have already ran, depending on the specific job). The maintenance originally scheduled for yesterday, September 21st, has been moved back one week to September 28th. This is a very complex maintenance involving many updates to software, hardware, and network configurations and this additional time will help us ensure we are as prepared as possible for a smooth update to our system. Thank you for bearing with us through the wildfire season, hardware outages, and a challenging system update. Remember to keep an eye on the NERSC MOTD <https://www.nersc.gov/live-status/motd/> for Perlmutter’s status and details on future maintenances. Happy Computing!
